Lambda Consulting and its principals - Mark St. John and John Joanette - have a long-time commitment to enhancing human well-being and helping address the basic human needs of persons who are vulnerable, oppressed and/or living in poverty, including abused and neglected children, at-risk youth, homeless persons, families in distress, migrant and seasonal farmworkers, persons with HIV/AIDS, people with mental illness, senior citizens, and people with disabilities. Lambda Consulting has a combined total of over 40 years experience in state government, social services, and non-profit agency administration.

Mark St. John’s experience with Indiana’s legislative and executive branch operations include advocacy with the Indiana General Assembly to enact specific legislation and secure appropriations; administration and management of governmental human services agencies and departments; development, and administration of governmental agency budgets; state liaison activities with community-based organizations; and implementation of state and federal rules and regulations. As Executive Director of the Indiana Coalition on Housing and Homeless Issues, Mr. St. John also coordinated advocacy with members of Indiana’s Congressional delegation and federal agencies regarding community economic development, affordable housing, and homeless programs.

John Joanette, with extensive management and consulting experience in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors, with a specific emphasis on housing/homeless issues, civil rights, human service and health care. His experience includes service as Executive Director of a full-service social service agency serving people with HIVAIDS in inner-city Detroit, program development consulting, and public policy consultation and lobbying activities on behalf of current Lambda Consulting clients here in Indiana, as well as advocating on behalf of underserved populations at the Michigan State Capitol.
